Patrick Theoret, owner

Patrick is the owner and primary technician of Back to Square. He has been in the construction industry for over 35 years, working in residential as an electrician. He progressed to a general contractor and civil construction industry on various mine sites and road work as a general foreman.

During his involvement in the residential industry, repairing houses following fire and floods, he came across numerous cracked and sinking foundations, noticing the damages caused to the property. He decided to focus his career on repairing and restoring all kinds of concrete structures for water damage and structural repairs.

Patrick became a preferred contractor for many restoration companies in the Okanagan, working for homeowners and major development companies to repair concrete structures. His years of experience and knowledge of concrete structures allowed him to bring economical and permanent solutions to all types of structural issues and water-damaged foundations.
2007
Patrick is a pioneer in the high-pressure injection technique of concrete repair, being the first to bring the crack injection solution to resolve issues for homeowners in the Okanagan. Patrick has been a successful entrepreneur and has always offered his clients top-of-the-line service and the latest technology.
2017
Patrick has also been the first to use carbon fibre reinforcement on concrete structures that require supplemental reinforcing to reduce stress on structural components of all types, including wood structures. His constant investment in the newest and best technologies and wealth of experience make him an incredible resource.

I had the pleasure of working with Patrick for two years in Mission Group’s Construction Division, Preconstruction Department. During that time Patrick and I worked on ferrying a number of high-rise, low-rise and commercial/light industrial projects through the preconstruction process.

Patrick’s considerable experience in a broad variety of construction specialties proved to be extremely valuable in analyzing and planning for the variety of projects he participated in. His attitude, dedication and the expertise he demonstrated was very helpful and highly appreciated.

Patrick has also worked as a subcontractor for Mission Group doing leak detection and the remedial work required to fix not just the water ingress but the structural deficiencies that were found to be the root cause of the leaks.
